This blog is entitled 'TacitKnowledge', recalling the work of the great scientist and philosopher Michael Polanyi. It is planned as a platform for much that we perceive but don't always share, fearing that our views are too vague to be of value. Here I will take you to a tour of books and articles written by me, over the years and on various topics. One major area covered will be theoretical physics, while broader domains will also be explored -- touching upon philosophy, psychology, and the contemporary social-political scenario too.   Recent findings relating to extremely small and extremely large space-time scales raise a number of fundamental questions, including the one on the nature of reality. The present article is an attempt at a naturalistic interpretation of the noumenal-phenomenal dualism inherent in Kantian metaphysics, wherein we seek a way to  look at foundational questions on space-time and causality. The phenomenal is a low dimensional projection of the noumenal. This gives a clue to understand the much debated issue of incommensurability of successive scientific theories.   Click here to read
